Parents and students should be applying for their FSA ID at https://fsaid.ed.gov/ for FAFSA to fill out eligibility for TN Hope, Pell Grant and other financial aid. Listed below, some scholarship and application deadlines, as well as college preview dates. 

If you plan on attending a College Preview Day, go to the schools' website and register.

Start applying for colleges. As soon as you apply, request your transcript be sent by filling out the form on the counseling office door Keep check outside the counseling office for scholarships Meet with Mrs. Wilson to apply for the TNPromise. The website is www.TNPromise.gov. 

October 
Continue to research and apply to colleges 
Schedule campus tours 
Complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov (Opens October 1st) 
TNPromise Mandatory Fall Meeting – 
October 18th @ 11:30, HUS Hawk’s Nest 


November 
Continue applying to and visiting colleges 
8 hours community service performed & logged for the TN Promise 
Meet with Mrs. Wilson to ensure all paperwork is complete for FAFSA before November 15th 

December – May 
Regularly check for new scholarships in the counseling office area
